The Hotel at Oberlin partners with Common Ground – The Cindy Nord Center for Renewal, for customized team building workshops. Located on 30 acres in the heart of the Vermilion River Valley near Oberlin, Common Ground offers professionally trained guides and seven zip lines, two spiral staircases, three aerial bridges and 13 tree platforms. Common Ground offers such activities as a two and half hour Canopy Tour that concludes with an 850 foot zip line journey over the Vermilion River, with a final rappel back to the ground. Their Adventure Challenge Programs offers opportunities for groups to physically, mentally and emotionally challenge themselves in an encouraging environment, thanks to a series of team building ground initiatives, low ropes course elements, and high ropes course elements.
