Named after the year that both the City of Oberlin and Oberlin College were founded by John Jay Shipherd and Philo P. Stewart- our signature restaurant, 1833, is centered on the people who grow food for themselves, their friends, their neighbors, and the larger community. 1833 features small plates and social fare simply put as the "perfect bite". Our socially driven menus offer heightened awareness and partnering with the farmer sharing the importance of their story through the thought and care put in our food.

Check-in time at the Hotel at Oberlin is 4:00 PM. Check out time is at 11:00 AM. Complimentary parking is available. Enjoy 24/7 access to purchase sundries or toiletries and our complimentary business center. Be sure to fuel up on the complimentary coffee in the lobby (available until 10:00 AM) before your work remotely with access to several charging ports available throughout the lobby. We'll be sure to keep you hydrated with complimentary infused water in the lobby from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
