• The Details: Keep it local! You barely have to leave the hotel to enjoy the City of Oberlin's annual Independence Day festivities. Gather at the Oberlin Recreation Complex just down the road and enjoy a beautiful fireworks display at dusk alongside our wonderful community.

2. Wellington Community Concert & Fireworks (Wellington - July 3)

• The Vibe: Old-fashioned Americana.

• The Details: Just a short, scenic drive south, Wellington is kicking off the holiday early on July 3rd. Head to the Lorain County Fairgrounds for an old-fashioned ice cream social followed by a free, live performance by the Patriots Symphonic Band. Fireworks light up the sky right as the concert ends!

3. Independence Day Celebration at West Park (Elyria)

• The Vibe: Family-friendly festival fun.

• The Details: If you have kids in tow, this is the place to be. Elyria’s West Park transforms into a massive summer festival featuring food trucks, bounce houses, chalk art areas, live music, and basketball activities, capped off with a spectacular fireworks show at 10:15 PM.

4. 250 Jubilee Fireworks Celebration (Avon Lake - July 3)

• The Vibe: Live music and food trucks.

• The Details: Head up to Weiss Field in Avon Lake for their special "250 Jubilee." Grab a bite from local food and dessert trucks, enjoy a live country music concert by Country Redford, and settle in for an extended, celebratory fireworks display.

5. America 250 Finale at the Mile-Long Pier (Lorain)

• The Vibe: Breathtaking, lakeside-industrial grand finale.

• The Details: Looking for the ultimate capstone to the weekend? Head north to the lake. Lorain’s Mile-Long Pier becomes a Lake Erie grandstand for their America 250 Finale. Watch stunning fireworks launched over the water, framed beautifully by the historic 1917 Lorain Lighthouse. It is one of the most picturesque fireworks displays across Ohio.
