America 250: Why Ohio is the Perfect Place to Celebrate
The 250th anniversary of the United States is a monumental moment to reflect on our nation's journey. But why celebrate America 250 in Ohio?
Ohio represents the pioneering spirit of the nation. From being the first state carved out of the Northwest Territory to its historic role on the Underground Railroad (prominently rooted right here in Oberlin), Ohio’s history is America's history. Celebrating the 250th here means honoring the diverse communities, innovators, and everyday heroes who helped build and shape the country.
