About the Rural Response Network:
The Rural Response Network (RRN) is an initiative of Riveon Mental Health and Recovery, committed to supporting the well-being of Oberlin, Wellington, and the surrounding rural communities. Over the past three years, RRN has delivered evidence-based prevention lessons and training to students and staff in local schools and at Oberlin College. The initiative has also provided harm-reduction services to residents across the region, facilitated stigma-reduction trainings for community members, first responders, and businesses, and expanded naloxone access by training more than 1,200 community members. Through strong partnerships with schools, local agencies, and community organizations, RRN meets people where they are, offering education, resources, and compassionate support to build healthier, more resilient communities.
