Fully modernized, each room offers luxurious style while maintaining the historic New England charm and original character of the Inn. Modern conveniences include free high-speed wired and wireless Internet throughout, 32-inch LCD flat-screen televisions with HD programming, pillow-top mattresses, high thread-count linens, a writing desk, chair, and polished chrome fixtures with glass shower doors in all of our private guest bathrooms.
Every room enjoys a tranquil view of either Amherst Town Center or historic Amherst College.
Pets are not allowed at the Inn on Boltwood.

Queen Rooms
These cozy rooms frequently offer character-rich layouts with nooks, views, and designs unique to our New England Inn. A queen-sized bed with rich linens and cozy blankets adorn the space along with our standard room amenities. Queen Rooms are perfect for solo or business travelers coming to Amherst, MA. A few of our select Queen Rooms offer a working gas fireplace. An ADA compliant version of this room type increases the area to maneuver around the bed and living area as well. In addition, our ADA Queen Room offers a large bath with roll-in shower ample with grab bars.

King Rooms
Guests that prefer a slightly larger space and bed type find our King Rooms to be their room type of choice. King Rooms typically have wing-back chairs for relaxing and provide just the right amount of space for traveling couples. For those seeking added romance, three of our King rooms provide a working gas fireplace. When combined with our standard amenities like flat-screen HDTVs, this room type provides our guests with an upscale, modern New England Inn experience that isn’t easily forgotten.

Double Rooms
Our standard Double rooms feature two full-sized beds with luxurious pillow top mattresses and plenty of natural light. Hardwood floors and cozy, intimate bathrooms invite our guests to revel in the New England Inn experience. Parents and families with potential Amherst and Five Colleges students find these rooms most convenient when visiting the nearby colleges and university. Two spacious ADA compliant Double rooms are available with one featuring a tub and transfer chair and the other offering visual alarms and doorbell for the hearing impaired.

Deluxe Queen Rooms
This very special one of a kind room type delivers the best of what the Inn has to offer. The adjoining sunroom provides additional space and presents panoramic views of Amherst College and rooftop garden as well as a twin-size pull-out sleeper sofa for additional bedding options. The Deluxe Queen also includes a more spacious bathroom.

Deluxe Double Rooms
Families traveling together and guests attending events at Inn on Boltwood will find our Deluxe Double room type will suit their needs perfectly! The rooms feature views that overlook the pergola in the gardens at the rear of the Inn, including the scenic Amherst College campus. As the name implies, these upgraded rooms feature two full-size beds in the main area. The pièce de résistance of this room type is the attached sunroom. Swing open the French doors and bask in the natural light and magnificent garden views of this bonus space. A twin-sized pull out sofa bed in the sunroom provides an additional sleeping accommodation.

Queen Suites
Get cozy and comfortable in a Queen Suite at Inn on Boltwood. These cozy two-room suites offer wonderful spaces to relax and take in the surroundings of Amherst, MA. Double Suites
The Double Suites at the Inn on Boltwood elevate a luxurious experience to yet another level. One of our Double Suites has a tub in the bath area. If two double beds in the guestroom are not enough sleeping space, the twin-size sleeper sofa located in the adjoined parlor can be deployed to accommodate an additional guest. The parlor here also works well as a meeting space due to its separate living and sleeping quarters.
