Renovated in 2011, the transformed Inn features 49 unique and stylish guest rooms and suites, 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space including a spacious new ballroom, updated and expanded conference facilities, and a new farm-to-table inspired full full-service restaurant 30Boltwood.

The Inn on Boltwood has long been an important fixture of Amherst College, as well as the Town of Amherst.
Located at 30Boltwood Avenue on the Amherst Common the Inn provides a desirable alternative to the limited service branded hotels in the area and is within walking distance to numerous museums, restaurants, shops and other points of interest. The Inn on Boltwood is a short 30-minute drive from Springfield, MA and perfectly situated between the historic towns of Northampton and Deerfield making it an ideal location for visitors of the "Five College" area and its neighboring institutions.
Sustainability at the Inn on Boltwood
The Inn on Boltwood is also deeply dedicated to the environment and its future. Recent improvements made during the renovation, make the Inn one of the greenest in the Pioneer Valley.
Initiatives that contributed towards the Inn’s environmental sustainability include the implementation of a geothermal ground source heating and cooling system, the incorporation of water-efficient landscaping, installation of energy-efficient plumbing and electrical fixtures, use of regionally manufactured materials and materials constructed with recycled content and CO2 fresh air-activated systems placed in all of our meeting rooms.
